Electronic music artist Kygo is set to take over the Las Vegas Strip with an exclusive residency at the all-new Palm Tree Beach Club, opening in May at MGM Grand. Launching his first-ever “daylife” residency, the “Hold On Me” producer will be the first artist to perform at the venue, kicking off a summer-long lineup featuring some of the biggest names in EDM. Tickets go on sale staring Feb. 11 at 11 a.m. PST, but are expected to sell out fast.

After eight years as a resident artist at Wynn Nightlife, Kygo (real name Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll) and Myles Shear’s Palm Tree Crew worked with Tao Group to open up this tropical oasis-themed club, which spans 60,000 square feet and includes a ground-level stage, salt water pool, VIP bottle service, along with bungalows, cabanas, daybeds and chaise lounges for 3,000 guests. Kygo’s Palm Tree Beach Club residency will debut opening weekend on May 3rd, with a roster of artists set to perform over the summer, including Tiësto, Martin Garrix, Zedd, Steve Aoki, Alesso, Fisher, Chris Lake, DJ Pauly D, and more.

“Las Vegas has always been a special place for me, so I’m beyond excited to open our venueon the Strip — and there’s no better place to kick off my first-ever daytime Vegas residency,” saidKygo in a statement. “I’m so grateful to bring this vision to life with our partners at Tao Group Hospitality and MGM Grand. Can’t wait to see my fans and Palm Tree Crew family in Vegas!”

Kygo recently wrapped up his first world tour in six years in support of his eponymous 2024 album, joined by guests Zara Larsson, Sam Feldt, Hayla, and Vandelux on the road. Featuring hits like “Whatever” and “For Life,” Kygo featured collaborations with Ava Max, Sigrid, Jonas Brothers, and Nile Rodgers of the legendary disco group Chic.

However, if you’re not able to make it to Vegas (we do have a guide to the best way to spend 48 hours there if you are), there are still plenty of chances to see Kygo perform this year.

Before this residency kicks off, Kygo is keeping busy with the Palm Tree Music Festival, an EDM festival he co-founded in 2020. Held in Aspen, the most recent iteration will feature sets from Dom Dolla, Fisher, Sofi Tukker, LP Giobbi, Franc Moody, and more.
