Update: Family of Gene Hackman Suspects Carbon Monoxide Poisoning Caused Death

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, actor Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy Arakawa, were found dead on Wednesday afternoon, along with the family dog.

The star actor’s daughter, Elizabeth Hackman, told TMZ they believe carbon monoxide poisoning is to blame.

Elizabeth Hackman added law enforcement told her family no foul play was involved, but Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza reported Hackaman and Arakawa’s deaths are still under investigation.

TMZ reported Hackamn’s house was fairly modern and was built in 2000.

No previous reported gas leaks or services were recently provided to the home.

Per TMZ:

Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy Arakawa, tragically died this week … and their family believes carbon monoxide poisoning is to blame, TMZ has learned.

The legendary actor’s daughter, Elizabeth Jean Hackman, tells TMZ they’re not sure, but they think the cause might be from toxic fumes.

She added law enforcement found no signs of foul play, although Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza tells us his deputies haven’t ruled anything out and are still investigating.

The house is fairly modern … it was built in 2000. We do not know if there were any issues with gas leaks or if there were calls to service at the address.
