Arsenal will be enjoying a slightly longer break than usual as they focus on preparations for their Champions League clash away at PSV on Tuesday.
The Gunners are out of the FA Cup so have benefited from a free weekend to rest up ahead of their trip to Holland, which will be a big boost for Mikel Arteta given the severity of Arsenal's injury crisis.
While Arteta is not expected to get any more players back from injury for the PSV clash, his squad will have been boosted by a chance to recuperate some energy as they bid to go as far as possible in the Champions League.
Mirror Football has given a breakdown of some of the biggest Arsenal stories and gossip in the build up to the game.
Rosicky breaks silence on sporting director rumours
Speculation has been rife about who Arsenal's next sporting director could be ever since the departure of Edu in November, with the role still not being filled.
The Gunners will be looking for an experienced figure to fill the hotseat, especially given they face a huge summer coming up - hoping to bring in a number of new signings to hand Arteta another shot at the title race.
Former Arsenal star Tomas Rosicky, who played 247 times for the club across 10 years, is one of the names being linked with the role - along with Dan Ashworth and current interim Jason Ayto.
Rosicky is currently carrying out a similar job for Sparta Prague but has now revealed he has had no contact from Arsenal over the job.
''So the reality is simple," he said. "My connection with Arsenal is natural because I spent 10 years there, and when you spend 10 years somewhere you form a strong, very strong bond. So I have this strong bond with Arsenal and I have a strong bond with Sparta Prague. Those are the two clubs that I love football-wise because I have a warm relationship with them.
Gary Neville rules Arsenal out of title race
With Arsenal now 13 points behind Liverpool in the title race, it's understandable that most punters would have dashed their chances of catching the Reds.
Liverpool have only lost once all season while Arsenal have drawn nine and lost three, while they still have to play the rest of the campaign without a recognised No 9.
Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville appears to have written off Arsenal's prospects of winning the league after describing Liverpool's win at Manchester City as a "title-winning performance".
"When I think back to the perfect, big game, away wins late on in a season that sometimes happened for [United], that's how it happened," he told the It's Called Soccer podcast. "You were never in control, you didn't have possession.
"You felt like you were in control in a different way through not having possession, just through being so hard to beat. That performance will not go down in the history books as being the best game of football ever but it really hit home to me that that was a title-winning performance because it was many different things in one."
Arsenal hope Leipzig crisis can seal Sesko deal
One player that Arsenal are expected to be linked with this summer is Red Bull Leipzig forward Benjamin Sesko, who was rumoured to be a target for the Gunners in the January transfer window.
It's believed Leipzig would want around £67million for Sesko, who has scored 16 goals for the club this season, though the Gunners may be boosted by the team's difficult season that has seen them crash out of Europe and struggle in the Bundesliga.
Leipzig are sixth in the table, 23 points behind league leaders Bayern Munich, and they are in danger of missing out on Champions League football for next season - which would have huge financial ramifications.
It would be particularly crushing for the club given they have already committed £66m to signing Xavi Simons in January, meaning they may have no choice but to listen to offers for Sesko in the summer.
Arsenal are not alone in their interest for Sesko, with Chelsea also monitoring the player - who only signed a new deal with the club last year.
