Allison Langdon has revealed her New Year's resolution for 2022.

Speaking to Nine Honey, the Today show host said that she wants to ensure she never takes things for granted.

'If this year has taught us anything, it's to make the most of anything and we can't take things for granted,' the 42-year-old said.

'Certainly each other and the simple things like spending time with our family. I'm looking forward to a lot more of that in 2022.'

The TV host is a proud mother to son Mack, four, and daughter Scout, two.

Last week, Allison was every inch the doting mother as she enjoyed a fun day at the beach with her two children.

She shared a series of sweet photos to Instagram of herself with Mack and Scout enjoying a swim.

Allison shares her children with her husband Michael Willesee Jr, who she married in 2008.

Michael used to be a TV presenter, but now has a corporate job at Westpac.

Last month, Allison spoke out about her own parenting style in light of her new show, Parental Guidance.

In an interview with Stellar, she explained she had enjoyed a 'free-range' childhood while growing up on a farm.

But after moving to the city with her family, she says her own parenting style is completely different.

'Because we now live in the city I've become far more helicopter-like,' she said.
