Tanya Guccione has teased a major return to Channel Nine after being at the centre of the biggest cheating scandal in The Block's 17-year history.
The makeup artist, 39, who became public enemy number one after she took a photo of the show's production schedule, told news.com.au on Friday that she's had some 'laughs' with The Block producer Julian Cress and 'grateful' Nine executives.
Tanya, who initially claimed she had received the photo from an 'anonymous tradie', also said she has 'no regrets' and described the experience as 'absolutely worth it'.
Teasing a possible return to Channel Nine, Tanya told the publication: 'I don't think based on that season that we'll be going away any time soon.
'We've had some laughs and some giggles with [The Block producer] Julian Cress and some Nine executives and they're nothing but grateful. They're like, "It's because of you guys that we had a cracker season".'
Tanya, who placed third with husband Vito Guccione and made $400,000 after selling their property for $3.8million, added that the show was 'absolutely worth it'.
'I don't regret it for a second. It was crazy and wild but honestly one of the best things I've ever done,' she said.
During The Block finale in November, Tanya confessed to her involvement in the cheating scandal.
She came clean after Josh and Luke Packham shared details of what happened.
The Love Island twins, 27, implicated Tanya, saying she was the one who took the photo of the show's production schedule and sent it to them.
Earlier in the episode, Tanya had made a last-ditch attempt to downplay her involvement by saying she didn't know who'd sent her the photo because it came in the form of an anonymous text message.
'Yes, Josh and I both went into the production office during the photo shoot and we did actually visually see the schedule,' she said.
'We had a bit of a laugh, "Oh my gosh, look at that, that is the schedule. Don't have a good enough memory these days to remember it off by heart", but I did not take that photo.'
But after it all came out in the wash, Tanya broke down and finally took responsibility.
'What I want to say is that I obviously take full responsibility for this situation and I am sorry, I am truly sorry. Yes, I did. I took the photograph,' she said tearfully.
'I am not a stupid woman but I did a stupid thing. We take responsibility for what happened and where it ended up after that was obviously out of my power, but I started it.'
Tanya told Daily Mail Australia in October that she never thought she would be portrayed as the show's main 'villain'.
'I never in my wildest dreams thought that I would get the title of a villain,' she said.
'I never applied with that in mind, and my mum and everyone who knows me just laughs.
'I never thought that would be me - ever. It's hard to digest that could be the way that people are perceiving me. We watch it and think, "How did this happen?"'
However, Tanya did acknowledge she would have perceived her actions with suspicion if she were a viewer - especially after seeing hidden-camera footage which showed her and Vito appearing to conspire before she confessed to producers.
