The Apprentice stars 'damaged' show house during wild hallway mattress mischief

The Apprentice stars "damaged" the contestants' house.

Reece Donnelly, who appeared in the 2023 series of the show, spoke to Daily Star about his time on the BBC competition series competing for Lord Alan Sugar's investment. He also spilled the beans on what the contestants got up to away from the cameras.

The Apprentice stars all bunk up in the same house for the duration of filming and Reece got up to some seriously wild stuff with his new pals.

Speaking on behalf of Spin Genie, Reece told Daily Star: "There was lots of damage to that house come the end of the series! From where people were playing hide and seek..."

That wasn't all. On their days off, the bored contestants - who were deprived of their phones, contact with the outside world and even knowing the time of day - worked together to entertain themselves in a rather unusual way.

Reece explained how they decided to let off steam: "We had a day off and we hosted our own sports day in the back garden. I remember us putting all the mattresses in the hall one day and trying to do gymnastics!"

"We tried to make a tumbling track, we were all trying to do backflips and they were like: ‘What are you doing? Are you all 12?’ We had lots of fun. It was such a good season."

Donnelly confessed that much of the juiciest action happens back at The Apprentice house while the camera's aren't rolling: "I think so much of the fun stuff happens back at the house, what they don’t cover."

Reece was sadly forced to leave the 2023 series due to "health reasons" and fans were sad to see him go. Despite his untimely departure from the BBC series, Reece remained pals with some of his co-stars and the group hosted watch parties together when their series aired.
