Go Compare star Wynne Evans has reportedly been "sacked" from the Strictly Come Dancing UK tour.
Wynn was allegedly booted off the live tour following a remark about having a "spit roast" with Janette Manrara during a full cast photocall. It comes after fans were left "uncomfortable" by his new show debuting despite the scandal.
A source has said: "He's had repeated warnings about his behaviour and told to reign it in. He's not been taking it in, in this day and age the BBC have to be seen taking action and safegaurd everyone.
"He's had a tough time with the death of his brother and people should give him some slack, he is going to take this time off to do some self reflection.
"He has a lot of support from a lot of the backstage dancers. It's been a really sad ending to what has been a really fun tour."
Wynne has also previously apologised after the Welsh opera singer was heard saying the phrase "spit roast" to his co-star Jamie Borthwick while standing beside Manrara.
Evans apologised: "My language was inappropriate and unacceptable, for which I sincerely apologise," while Janette's spokesperson said that the professional dancer had not heard the comment being said.
A tour insider has also previously spoken out about Wynne's involvement in the Strictly Come Dancing live tour.
They said: “As soon as they were alerted to the remarks, tour producers called a meeting with Wynne. He was very apologetic and fully agreed that what he said was inappropriate and unacceptable."
According to the source, Wynne was reportedly "given a warning" and "told in no uncertain terms that the kind of language is not tolerated".
Strictly fans have also voiced their opinions about Wynne's behaviour. Many took to social media to share their thoughts and one person even gave tour bosses an ultimatum.
They wrote: "Either he goes or we don’t go. It’s supposed to be a family show. Get rid of Wynne Evans," while someone else said that "a warning is not enough".
The frustrated Strictly fan stated that Evans "shouldn't be allowed to say something to vile" and then "continue to make money from the tour". Other Strictly fans simply demanded he be "removed from the tour immediately".
However, some of his co-stars have showed support for the singer. Pro dancer Katya Jones and former Love Islander Tasha Ghouri posted a picture with Wynne while on a night out, while Kai Widdrington posed with his arm around Wynne and a heart emoji.
Amy Dowden, Lauren Oakley and Aljaz Skorjanec also attended his birthday meal.
