WOULD you love to say thanks to the best mum in the world, with luxurious prizes that can make her Mother’s Day last all year?
Perhaps you know a mum, grandmother or foster mum who goes above and beyond. Maybe you want to honour someone who has sacrificed personal dreams for her children’s, or dealt with illness or tragedy.
Today, we launch our Mum Idol competition, which will lead to one lucky mum getting thousands of pounds worth of goodies and experiences for Mother’s Day on March 30.
Our lucky winner, and up to three guests, will enjoy two nights at the London Hilton on Park Lane, in the heart of Mayfair.
She and her family will spend the night in an executive room with spectacular views over Hyde Park, dining at the upmarket Park Corner Brasserie.
Our winner will also get a family getaway worth up to £1,800 at a Eurocamp destination of her choice.
There are sites in France, Spain, Italy, Croatia, The Netherlands, Germany, Luxembourg, Austria and Switzerland, with holiday options including beach, island, lakeside, riverside and parks near cities.
The mum who goes that extra mile can take three adults, or two adults and up to four children, on the amazing break.
The winner also gets a year’s supply of pizza worth £1,000 from Pizza Express, plus a year’s supply of treats worth £400 from award-winning chocolatier Lily O’Brien’s.
Our Mum Idol will even get a year’s membership to Snap Fitness UK, worth another £400.
Gather Gourmet Cocktails will send her yummy tipples, such as Salted Caramel Banana Colada, Spicy Mango Margarita and Pineapple Rum Punch, each month for a year, worth £500.
And a luxury photo shoot will create lifelong memories.
The winner will be picked by a panel of judges, led by Apprentice star and mother-of-two Karren Brady.
She said: “As a mum, it’s easy for us to put ourselves last and everyone else first.
“It’s a delight to be head judge for The Sun on Sunday’s Mum Idol competition. I can’t wait to reward a deserving mother figure.”
Extra mile
Julie Oakley, who has spent two decades helping bullying victims, was our previous winner after being nominated by her daughter Samantha, 35.
The supermum, of Yate, South Gloucs, who is 64 on Wednesday, said:
“It was amazing to be recognised.
“There are many more mums out there deserving of the title, so get voting!”
