Sabrina Carpenter fans have one big demand amid Short n' Sweet tour announcement

Pop sensation Sabrina Carpenter extended her Short n' Sweet tour on Friday (February 28), as she shared an announcement on her Instagram page.

However, it appeared to leave some fans in frustration, who quickly made a demand to the 25-year old.

The Espresso singer will perform in Dublin next week as the first of her highly-anticipated dates across Europe begin. Sabrina arrives in the UK on June 6, meanwhile, where she will take to Birmingham's Utilita Arena stage, with further shows in London, Glasgow and Manchester to come.

In the meantime, the Sabrina Carpenter will perform at tonight's (March 1) The BRIT Awards 2025 with Mastercard ceremony, where she will also receive the prestigious Global Success award.

Her announcement saw her add 12 new dates - all of which are in North America. "You asked and we listened!" she wrote on Instagram.

"So excited to announce an additional leg of the Short n' Sweet Tour - coming back to a few select cities this fall! New York, Los Angeles, Nashville, Toronto and Pittsburgh (for taxes) with special guests Olivia Dean, Ravyn Lenae and Amber Mark. Can't wait to see you all for one last short n' sweet hurrah and Europe see you in just a few days."

Whilst fans in her homeland were delighted, those in Australia were left disappointed after being hopeful Sabrina would tour Down Under for the first time. Whilst she supported Taylor Swift on her Eras Tour in Australia last year, she's never played a headline show in the country.

"We need Australia, not another America leg," one Instagram user fumed in response. Another asked: "But where are the Australian dates girl?"

A third hit out: "AUSTRALIA SABRINA YOU PROMISED." A fourth added: "Sabrina please come to Melbourne I’m begging." And a fifth person was hit with an anti-climax: "I thought this was gonna be Australia and almost lost the plot."

Ahead of tonight's ceremony and Sabrina's recognition, the Brit Awards said: "The BRITs Global Success award identifies an artist with phenomenal global sales and Sabrina becomes the first international artist to receive it following a decision by the BRITs Committee to open the award up to overseas artists.

"Sabrina joins previously announced performers JADE, Myles Smith, Teddy Swims and The Last Dinner Party who will take to the stage on the night."

Damian Christian, Chair of the BRIT Committee for 2025, added: "Congratulations to Sabrina on winning this prestigious award. Everyone involved in the show is looking forward to her performance, which promises to be one of the highlights of the night."
