“ ‘Hollywood Squares’ was one of the cheesier game shows of my childhood,” says the cartoonist Roz Chast, who drew her ideal selection of panelists for the cover of the January 13, 2025, issue. “I wanted to reconfigure it with people more familiar to me than, say, Kitty Carlisle.” “Hollywood Squares,” in various versions, has been onscreen since 1965. The season première for the latest revival is scheduled for January 9, 2025, with Drew Barrymore in the center square and Nate Burleson as the host.
