Real Housewives of Melbourne: Anjali Rao trolls her haters

Real Housewives of Melbourne star Anjali Rao has hit back at her trolls.

To mark the festive season, the embattled newsreader performed her own version of the holiday classic O Christmas Tree, with her own lyrics added in.

In the video, the 47-year-old sings: 'Oh Christmas troll, oh Christmas troll why don't you just crawl back in your hole.'

'You don't know me I don't know you, you're just a jealous mole. Your views are beyond tired, your presence here is not required,' she continued.

'You don't know me, I don't know, you don't know how to spell. Oh Christmas troll oh Christmas troll I hope you enjoy your life on the dole,' she finished.

Alongside the bizarre footage of herself in front of a Christmas tree, Anjali sarcastically paid tribute to her haters.

'Yes folks, after yet another fun filled day of deleting and blocking, I decided to write this jaunty little Yuletide ditty with a special message, dedicated to the social media slopsuckers among us,' she wrote.

'Please enjoy my delicious Christmas roast,' she concluded her post.

Anjali is best known for dramatically leaving the Foxtel show halfway through the season, however it appears some of her castmates are still in her corner.

'Oh honey I love it... F***ing brilliant,' Kyla Kirkpatrick commented on the post.

'Those buggers trolled me on Christmas Day too. PS, I don’t actually think they know they are trolls, truly,' Cherry Dipietrantonio added.

Anjali's post comes weeks after the former CNN news anchor signed with celebrity agent Max Markson.

Earlier this month, Mr Markson, who runs the Markson Sparks PR agency, celebrated his latest signing on December 23 by sharing a screenshot of a Herald Sun article about his client.

'BREAKING! Extremely proud to announce that @the_real_anjali_rao has joined Markson Sparks for exclusive representation! Very exciting,' Mr Markson wrote at the time..

Anjali then responded to her agent's post in the comments section, writing: 'YESSSS!! Cannot wait to see what we cook up next. Let's do this!'

Anjali walked away from The Real Housewives of Melbourne last month, after verbally eviscerating her co-stars.
