PETE Wicks reportedly left a BRITs afterparty 'early' after he and ex Maura Higgins attended the same bash.

The TOWIE star, 37, was in a relationship with Maura, 34, before they split up earlier this year.

But in awkward scenes, they were both sat just feet away from each other for the BRIT Awards on Saturday night.

While they seemingly managed to avoid bumping directly into each other during the ceremony, Pete reportedly left an afterparty early after Maura also attended the event.

The Mirror report Maura partied until the end at Universal's post-BRITs bash, while Pete didn't hang around.

A source told the newspaper: "Pete and Maura were both at the afterparty but were very separate.

"Pete was there fleetingly at the beginning, but Maura was there until the end at 2am-ish.

"She was partying with I'm A Celebrity pals Danny Jones and Oti Mabuse. She was having a good time with TikTok star Luke Hamnett."

The insider added that Pete stayed close to his pal Olivia Attwood while he was there.

Last week The Sun on Sunday revealed newly single Maura had said Pete was “probably cheating” when she was asked where he was as she left a restaurant on Valentine’s night.

Sources say Maura grew suspicious of messages from women on Pete’s mobile when they were together.

Although Olivia is happily married to footballer Bradley Dack, she has been pictured enjoying nights out with Pete.

A source close to Maura said: “Maura doesn’t know Olivia that well, but does really respect her.

“As far as Maura’s concerned she doesn’t have any issues with Olivia and will always make an effort to say hello if they ever are at the same parties or red carpet events.”
