Musk Suggests the Two US Astronauts Stranded on the International Space Station Were Left There for ‘Political Reasons’ – Trump Points the Finger at Biden

The saga of astronauts Butch Wilmore and Sunita Williams is back on the news.

Stranded for more than eight months in space after the Boeing Starliner capsule was plagued by endless safety issues and had to return to Earth empty, they are now to be brought back by SpaceX’s Dragon Spacecraft around mid-March.

But why did they stay up there so long? Trump and Musk discussed the issue yesterday (18) in a Fox News interview hosted by Sean Hannity.

Elon Musk suggested the two astronauts were left stranded there for ‘political reasons’. He said SpaceX was ‘accelerating the return of the astronauts’ as per Trump’s instructions.

Forbes reported:

What can be understood from the inference is that the Joe Biden administration from hell didn’t want to hand Musk and SpaceX this ‘win’, and further wanted the stranded space crew to become a ‘Trump problem’.

Being careful not to look complacent, Musk nevertheless said that his company has ‘brought astronauts back from the space station many times before, and always with success’.”

After the ‘go-ahead’ from Trump, Wilmore and Williams are now expected to return in about four weeks.

Trump: “They didn’t have the go-ahead with Biden. He was going to leave them in space. I think he was going to leave them in space…He didn’t want the publicity. Can you believe it?”

The Forbes report keeps trying to contrast Trump’s and Musk’s statements with sad denials from the astronauts that say: ‘we are not stranded’.

Besides the fact that they are heroic team-players who would never complain in public, they also could not have the slightest idea of the goings-on between Biden and his NASA leadership.
