Meghan Markle reacted with shock to an admission made by her celebrity chef friend in a new teaser for her upcoming Netflix show, which launches on March 4.
The streaming giant released a new 'sneak peek' of the show 'With Love, Meghan', where renowned chef Roy Choi declares his love for a certain type of music.
In the teaser, Meghan, 43, can be seen bonding with chef Roy Choi whilst they both prepare dishes in a luxurious kitchen setting. As they are chopping food and reminiscing about Koreatown, Meghan asks Chef Choi if he listens to music while cooking.
"I listen to a lot of lyrical jazz, hip-hop," he tells the Duchess, before adding: "Sometimes speed metal, death metal."
Meghan then pauses, looks shocked and issues the three-word reaction, saying: "No you don't" before adding, "What's speed metal?"
When Meghan is then told it's "just like dark [metal]", she replies and smiles, adding: "That doesn't sound like the joy of cooking."
The pair go on to share a few laughs when Choi quips that speed metal "is good for when you're butchering".
The two are shown working together in the kitchen of what appears to be a million-pound mansion in Montecito, California.
Roy Choi is a Korean-American chef who is known for his gourmet food trucks and television shows, and is also considered a leader in the modern food truck movement.
In the clip, Meghan also reminisces about Koreatown in Los Angeles, describing how the "best thing" was that you can go to "all ages clubs and karaoke bars".
Choi responds by sharing his own experiences: "I was part of dance crews, all that stuff."
The show was originally scheduled to launch on January 15 but was delayed due to devastating wildfires that swept through Los Angeles.
Meghan also shared on social media on Thursday more behind-the-scenes footage of the show, showing her interaction with the filming crew.
In it, the Duchess can be seen hugging crew members, looking through documents, and dancing around a kitchen. Prince Harry is also seen accompanying Meghan Markle as they exit a scene and head out of a house door.
She captioned her post: "Six more days until our show launches on @netflix! Celebrating the crew and everyone who helped make this happen! The countdown begins."
