Maria Hayek, owner of Century 21 American Realty, will head the 1985 roster of the Downey Board of Realtors and will serve as assistant regional vice president of the 22nd District of the California Assn. of Realtors. Hayek served as board president in 1982.
Other new officers include John Marinelli of United 4 Seasons Realty, president-elect; George Gordon of Century 21 Southeast Realty, vice president, and Bob Weglin, realtor, treasurer.
On the board of directors are Patti Martin, Lucy Guastella, Larry Kooiman, Don Jervis, Dennis Zaccardelli, Alice Yamada and Judy Jacobson. Chosen by the group as its 1984 Realtor of the Year was Frank Monteleone; Lee Brown of the Hoag Co. was named Realtor Associate of the Year.
