A Married At First Sight bride has drawn the ire of anti-vaxxers on Instagram after making a joke about how the unvaccinated will handle the Omicron variant.
While all signs point to Omicron being a milder form of the virus than Delta, albeit more transmissible, people who are unvaccinated still have a much higher risk of hospitalisation and death compared to those who are double jabbed.
Coco Stedman, a 30-year-old Pilates instructor who appeared on this year's season of MAFS, shared a meme on Instagram Stories on Thursday that implied she was anxious to see unvaccinated people she knows catch Covid.
The meme consisted of a blurry image of a man grinning alongside the text: 'Are you sitting, waiting, watching for all 2 of the people you know who aren't vaxxed to see what happens when they get Omnicron'd [sic] or are you a liar.'
It didn't take long for Coco to face backlash from vaccine refuseniks.
She shared a follow-up post of herself lying in bed and bobbing her head while wearing a beauty mask as she addressed the 'hate' she'd received.
'Me just str8 [sic] vibing after all the hate dms [direct messages] from the anti-vaxxers. You do you,' she wrote as the Britney Spears song Oops!... I Did It Again played in the background.
Coco recently underwent a surgical lip lift during Sydney's Covid lockdown.
The former police officer looked like a completely different woman as she showcased the results of her cosmetic procedure last month.
She uploaded a photo gallery of herself posing in different outfits and partying with friends - offering a generous glimpse of her newly enhanced pout.
A lip lift is an in-office surgical procedure that shortens the space between the nose and the top of the lip.
It is favoured by people looking to increase the height of the lips, but not the volume which is usually done through filler.
Clearly happy with her cosmetic makeover, a confident-looking Coco was seen pouting for selfies, dancing at a garden party, and pulling faces at a restaurant.
