Love Island in chaos as second Islander quits and flies home in 24 hours

The Love Island All Stars is in meltdown as another Islander has quit the show and flown home.

The show has seen a huge week of drop-outs as another contestant has walked within 24 hours. The news has come in just hours after it was announced that Ron Hall had left the show, making him the second star to walk in a couple of days.

However, now it has been revealed that Lucinda Strafford, who was set to be a villa bombshell, has decided to turn her back on the show. The beauty has already arrived in South Africa but decided she no longer wanted to compete on the programme.

She wrote on Instagram: "Respectfully this is how it sounds knowing Love Island All Stars is not for you this year, and if it's not okay, it's not the end."

A source also told The Sun: "Lucinda was asked to come and do Love Island again and she was really ready to give it another go. But she ended up being in holding for too long and wasn't happy about it.

The insider went on to tell the publication that she believed it would be "too late" for her to find a connection. They added: "It was a tough call but she decided to head home. She thinks it's for the best and this season just wasn't for her."

This comes after it was announced earlier today that Ron Hall would also be leaving the show. A source spoke to The Sun and said: "Ron was the centre of attention on his series, with multiple girls vying for his attention and with Lana always there for him to return to.

“It was a bit of a rude awakening for him this time round as he just couldn’t find a single spark. He realised he wasn’t likely to find that connection now and had grown tired of watching the front door for bombshells that might be for him."

Scott Thomas also left the show on Friday's episode after his romance broke down with Tina Stinnes, after he admitted he didn't have any further feelings for the star.

This makes the third star making a departure in a few days, leaving ITV producers having to scramble on their feet to find some new bombshells.

Tune in at 9pm tonight to find out which singletons will be heading into the love shack instead.
