Lily Allen has been wearing her wedding ring, despite her husband David Harbour appearing to find love again.
The singer been candid about her difficult start to the year after reports emerged that she had split from her actor husband David Harbour after four years. The 39-year-old Smile singer, who now lives in the US, revealed in January that she wasn't in "a good place" and her mental health was "spiralling".
But after taking a break from the Miss Me? podcast she records with her close friend Miquita Oliver, Lily reappeared, saying she was in a better place - and with a large ring on her wedding finger. She told her former Popworld presenter co-host she'd "found a good group of people" in LA after admitting it can be a "very isolating" place.
"It can be very isolating, life can be very isolating, I am generally quite an isolator," she shared. "LA is a really dangerous place to do that... for some reason it can feel very lonely in LA. People are being very kind to me at the moment and encouraging me to go out for dinner, go for walks, and the people that I'm working with are all really sweet. I felt very protected, supported."
Fans of the show took to the comments to commend Lily for being so open, with one writing: "Lily deserves all the support and happiness it's hard enough grieving a marriage never mind doing it in the public eye", and another adding: "Love this for you! And love your openness and honesty. I hope you’re finding the balance within to bring you to your creative space, if only for you and you alone. But looking forward to seeing what you share with us next."
While Lily and David have both remained tight-lipped about their marriage - or potential divorce - Stranger Things star David was recently also spotted without his ring on, amid reports he's dating again. The 49-year-old actor made his first red carpet appearance since the marriage speculation started at the Critics' Choice Awards in California on February 8, wearing a smart black suit but no ring. There have also been reports that he's dating a 27-year-old model.
In a January episode of Miss Me?, Lily opened up to Miquita and admitted she had been suffering panic attacks. "I'm finding it hard to be interested in anything. I'm really not in a good place," she said, adding: "I know I've been talking about it for months, but I've been spiralling and spiralling and spiralling, and it's got out of control. I've tried.
"I came to the Miss Me? Christmas lunch and had a panic attack and had to go home. And I went to see something at the theatre the other night with my friends... and I had to leave at half-time. I just can't concentrate on anything except the pain that I'm going through. And It's really hard."
