Lauren Phillips recently quit her job at Channel Nine's Weekend Today to focus on her radio career.
And on Friday, the 34-year-old revealed that her New Year's resolution includes more time to herself.
'To find a work-life balance,' she told Nine Honey of what her hopes for 2022 include.
'For the second half of this year, I've worked a seven-morning-a week schedule. Five mornings on KIIS and then Weekend Today,' she went on.
'It's been a lot of fun, but sadly just not sustainable. This year I'll ensure I see more of my family and friends.'
The TV star announced she was leaving the breakfast show earlier this month.
Lauren told the Herald Sun it's been too difficult juggling both her TV and radio role for KIIS FM.
'I've been managing a seven morning a week juggle for the last five months and I tried with every part of me to be able to make that possible so I could keep doing this job but unfortunately we all need a life/work balance,' she said.
'So I'm saying goodbye to Weekend Today, which is really sad, and it's a job I desperately wanted for a really long time.'
She continued: 'So to walk away from a dream job is never easy but I'm very grateful to have this opportunity.'
Lauren has been juggling her Weekend Today commitments with her KIIS 101.1 breakfast radio job since August.
The stunner also shared a moving farewell to the program in an Instagram post.
She wrote in her caption: 'Goodbye Weekend Today. And just like that, that's a wrap as my time on Weekend Today.
'Honestly, this job has been a dream and it was almost impossible to walk away from. I tried with every part of me to work seven mornings a week but it's time I get some balance. I'm genuinely so sad to be leaving.
'I've milked camels, been stood on by a cow, hiked mountains, almost frozen in lake Wanaka, driven a monster truck and been attacked my more birds than I can count and I've loved every moment off it.'
'Thank you for letting me share your weekends with you. It's been an absolute privilege,' she concluded.
