Footballer Kyle Walker reportedly partied at one of Milan's top nightclubs until the small hours of the morning just hours after his wife Annie Kilner flew back to the UK.
The sportsman, who fathered two children with Lauryn Goodman during his marriage to Annie, was reportedly at the Tocqueville 13 club until 4am with two mystery brunettes - but a source exclusively told the Mirror that their relationship was purely "platonic".
The 34-year-old defender is currently based in Italy after moving to play for AC Milan on loan from Manchester City. He and Annie, who share four sons, are believed to be giving their marriage another go after Annie previously filed for divorce following the news that Lauryn, 33, had given birth to a second baby - a daughter - fathered by Kyle.
Annie, 33, is believed to have flown out to witness Kyle make his debut for the top-flight team at the San Siro Stadium last month before returning to the UK with their sons, Roman, 12, Riaan, eight, Reign, six and Rezon, nine months.
According to the Sun, the Sheffield-born footballer arrived at the nightclub with two women just 24 hours after Annie left, and treated them to a "£5,300 Super VIP" club extravagance following a private dinner at the five-star Casa Ciprini Hotel.
However, a source exclusively told the Mirror that their relationship was purely platonic, and both women have long-term partners. "Kyle enjoyed a late-night dinner with his agent at the private members' club Ciprini restaurant," they said. "The Casa Ciprini Hotel is totally separate to the restaurant and Kyle was not there."
The source continued, "They were later joined by a big group of people known to Kyle’s agent. The girls pictured have long-term boyfriends and it would be wrong to link them to Kyle, or any of the other men, in anything other than platonically. "
Another source told us that Kyle spent much of the night talking about his new life in Milan after enjoying a spot of sightseeing with Annie and their boys.
"Kyle is a lovely, charming guy who was buzzing to talk about his new life in Milan," the source said. "He was particularly happy that he had had spent time showing his family the sites over the weekend. He’s really looking forward to the future, both personally and professionally."
News of the late-night party came shortly after Kyle's ex Lauryn revealed she'd been invited to the House of Commons by an MP to talk about her experience with the Child Maintenance Services.
The Celebs Go Dating star was previously embroiled in a Family Court showdown against Kyle over the specifics of their maintenance arrangements for their two children, Kairo, four, and one-year-old Kinara.
Posting on her Instagram, the reality star said: "CMS UPDATE! So I was lucky enough to be invited to the Houses of Parliament to have a meeting with my MP @peterjkyle about the CMS issues you guys have all been facing. I put forward all of the issues for both the receiving parents and the paying parents", and urged others not to "give up on your little ones".
