Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is set to meet King Charles III after the showdown with Donald Trump yesterday.
According to the BBC, the meeting is at the request of the UK government. Earlier Zelenskyy's spokesperson Sergiy Nykyforov told AFP: "We are in London." The outlet also reported Nykyforov said Zelenskyy would meet Starmer at 17:15 GMT on Saturday, before dropping in on King Charles III and a "group of European allies" on Sunday.
It comes after Trump's fiery exchange with Volodymyr Zelenskyy in the Oval Office grabbed global headlines as ceasefire discussions fell apart.
The Ukrainian President, initially there to ink a deal on rare minerals, was reportedly "kicked out" of the White House.
However, the Orange Manbaby left a sliver of hope, suggesting Zelenskyy could come back when he "wants peace".
Ukraine is now left without a deal after President Trump and his Vice President JD Vance seemed to "bully" President Zelenskyy on live TV yesterday. The pair labelled the wartime leader as "disrespectful", criticising him for what they saw as a lack of gratitude for their assistance.
This incident was one of many that caught the public's eye during the evening, with controversy igniting the moment the two men met.
An unexpected end to the meeting – which was supposed to conclude with a press briefing – came when Mr Trump turfed the Ukrainian delegation from the White House, claiming Mr Zelenskyy was "not ready for Peace". He wrote on his social media platform Truth Social: "We had a very meaningful meeting in the White House today.
"Much was learned that could never be understood without conversation under such fire and pressure.
"It’s amazing what comes out through emotion, and I have determined that President Zelenskyy is not ready for Peace if America is involved, because he feels our involvement gives him a big advantage in negotiations."
