Newly-single Jennifer Lopez proved once again why she’s the queen of red carpet glamour as she stepped out in a jaw-dropping gold gown for a star-studded pre-Oscars party.
The 54-year-old singer and actress turned heads in a sheer, figure-hugging metallic dress, flaunting her iconic curves with effortless confidence, following the collapse of her marriage with Ben Affleck and subsequent legal separation. The couple tied the knot in 2022 and were married for just two years before the actress and singer filed for divorce in August 2024.
JLo accessorised the dazzling ensemble with a glittering clutch and a classic nude manicure, letting her radiant glow do the talking. With her honey-blonde locks styled in soft waves and makeup that perfectly highlighted her signature bronzed look, she exuded Hollywood royalty.
In one stunning snap, the Marry Me star posed solo, showing off the intricate detailing of her shimmering gown. Another intimate photo captured Lopez cosying up with Hollywood legend Jane Fonda, who looked effortlessly chic in an all-black tailored ensemble, sipping a drink as they shared a candid moment.
This comes after it was reported that Ben is said to be 'casually dating'. The 52-year-old Hollywood actor is said to be dipping his toe back into the dating scene as he looks to move on from JLo again. Despite enjoying a few dates, a source has said that this is not something that is a top priority in Ben's life, as he pours his energy into work. An insider said: "This doesn't seem to be a focus though."
The insider continued to PEOPLE that the big screen star is "very focused on work," and "if he's not filming, he spends long days at his office." Ben is also said to be spending a lot of time with his children, Violet, 19, and Fin, 16, and Samuel, 12, that he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, with the source saying that "they are very close".
Ben and Jennifer are now legally single after filing their settlement on January 6, and 55-year-old singer JLo has opened up about the ending of her fourth marriage. Speaking to Interview magazine, Jennifer said: "It feels lonely, unfamiliar, scary. It feels sad. It feels desperate. But when you sit in those feelings and go, 'These things are not going to kill me,' it’s like actually, I am capable of joy and happiness all by myself. Being in a relationship doesn’t define me.
"I can’t be looking for happiness in other people. I have to have happiness within myself. I used to say I’m a happy person, but was still looking for something for somebody else to fill, and it’s just like, 'No, I’m actually good.'"
Meanwhile, the stress of divorce has said to have left Ben feeling "exhausted" and is still a little tentative about getting serious with anyone for a while. An insider told DailyMail.com: "This weight is lifted from him and he is ready to move on and date again — if the right woman comes along. He is taking a minute because this has taken a toll on him. He is staying close to his family and his sobriety circle."
This follows JLo reaching out to Ben following the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles, after he had evacuate his $20. 5 (£17 million) mansion in Pacific Palisades. A source told Page Six that the singer “has been checking in on Ben throughout this whole ordeal” and “let him know she’s there for him and the kids.”
