JACK WHITEHALL has revealed his hit Netflix show Travels With My Father is nearing its end.

The comedian has revealed his dad Michael, who turns 85 next month, doesn’t want to do another series and is focused on enjoying his retirement instead.

Talking on the Fifi, Fev & Nick podcast in Australia, he said: “I don’t know if we are doing any more Travels With My Father, I don’t think he wants to leave the house again after this tour.

“It’s very much his farewell tour and he wants to now enjoy his retirement.”

He then joked: “I’ve always very much pitched we could maybe do something else in the future, I think we could do a one-off Christmas special where I take him to one of those clinics in Switzerland . . . the final trip!”

BIANCA JACKSON risks getting thrown out of the Albert Square cafe in EastEnders tomorrow, in a clash over the Queen Vic fire.

Bianca, played by Patsy Palmer sees red as Laila Morse’s Mo blames her for the blaze, while Paul Bradley’s Nigel ends up playing peacemaker.

COCKY MATT: I’M OFF TO OZ

MATT HANCOCK defied a top brass Tory regarding I’m A Celebrity . . . , by telling them he was off to Oz last minute.

Party whip Simon Hart reveals how the former Health Secretary requested leave to appear on the ITV series and pocket a rumoured £400,000.

In his newly published diaries, Ungovernable, Simon says: “Matt came in, cheery as ever, and said: ‘I need to get permission for an extended period of absence… a couple of months, maybe.’

“He had accepted a chunky fee to go on I’m A Celeb.

“I explained I’d need to speak to No10 first. ‘When do you plan to leave?’ I asked.

“He said: ‘Tonight at nine.’ ‘So you aren’t asking so much as telling me,’ I said. Off he went.

“His Conservative Association Chairman was more candid: ‘I look forward to him eating kangaroo penis.’”

SARA’S GAME FOR TIME

BBC star Sara Davies, of Dragons’ Den fame, is to present a brand-new gameshow on ITV.

Daytime series Time Is Money’s unusual format will see contestants START the show with the jackpot cash prize in their grasp – before then battling against the clock to keep the cash, as one wrong answer will see their riches slip away.

With Sara guiding them through each round, it promises tense drama before the last remaining contestant walks away with the prize pot.

Sara, founder of arts-and-crafts supplier Crafter’s Companion, said of her latest adventure: “I’m absolutely delighted to be hosting Time Is Money.

“This show is unlike anything you have seen before – it’s full-on, it’s exhilarating and the pressure is real.

“It’s going to be a rollercoaster of excitement and tension, and I can’t wait to see who’ll keep their cool under pressure.

“Get ready for a make-or- break adventure, because time really is money.”

JOHNNY IN RACE FOR LOVE

INSTEAD of winning trophies, top racing driver Johnny Mowlem will be hoping to win over hearts as he appears on First Dates.

The four-time British champion racer will appear on the Channel 4 dating series tonight, in a search for love after his divorce from actress Fiona McLean.

But sitting down with potential love match dancer Snieguole, he admits any lady in his life has previously had to understand they might come second to his beloved racing.

Johnny says: “I do regret the obsession [with racing], but if I hadn’t had that obsession, I wouldn’t have been able to have as long a career as I did.

“My ex-wife used to joke motorsport was the other woman.

“Getting back into the dating world has felt strange, it’s changed from the days of standing in a pub, playing it cool, buying them a drink and being told to sling your hook.

“I need somebody that’s got a bit of excitement.”
