I’ve got lots of bald patches but you’d never be able to tell thanks to my clever concealing hack – here’s...

A WOMAN has revealed how she hides her bald patches so well that people can barely tell.

Nina Rose, who suffers from alopecia areata, took to TikTok to share how she styles her hair to cover her patches and “feel more confident.”

The brunette, who has long hair but experiences significant bald patches on the sides of her scalp and the back of her head, posted a video demonstrating her technique - garnering over 92,000 views.

She begins by parting her hair in the middle, leaving two thin strands at the front.

Nina then brushes the rest of her hair into a ponytail before curling the front strands and the ponytail for a more voluminous look.

To further conceal the bald patches, she uses a dark shade from a makeup palette and applies it with an eyeshadow brush to blend the patches seamlessly with her natural hair.

For those looking for a similar solution, Amazon sells hairline powder for £8.98, which instantly adds colour to thinning areas.

Users are advised to wash and dry their hair before applying the product with a sponge or brush. It can be removed easily with warm water and shampoo.

This particular hairline powder has received glowing reviews, with one person giving it a five-star rating, praising it for restoring their confidence.

They wrote: “I have a thinning hairline which I am really self-conscious of and this product works brilliantly at making it look thicker.

“I ordered the dark brown and it blends in really well and looks natural.

“I was worried that it would come away really easily on my fingers but it doesn't; a small amount only comes off if I rub my finger purposefully along my hairline where I have applied it. It also lasts all day. I would definitely recommend it.”

Nina’s video quickly gained attention, with many people taking to the comments to share their thoughts.

One viewer wrote: “Thank you so much. I have been getting bullied at school because of it and I just covered it up with makeup. Thank you so much.

“I am going to follow all your videos. Thank you.”

To which Nina replied: “A few girls on here have suggested using the L’Oréal Magic Retouch, or even hair fibres which I have seen for sale on TikTok, hope you find something that works for you.”

L’Oréal Magic Retouch, a root concealer, is available at Superdrug for £6.99.
