On top of all that, we can expect a Wicked-ly wonderful performance from Ariana Grande – who has been nominated for best supporting actress – and Cynthia, who’ll be performing a medley from the hit musical film.

Although there are many wishing to go home with a beautiful gong, no one will be walking away empty handed as all the top Academy Award nominees will receive a gift bag worth more than $200,000.

Government assistance, insurance, vetting vendors for remediation and rebuilding. And so, each nominee is getting a one-year Bright Harbor membership. These are worth over $3,500 (USD) each,’ Fary explained.

Fary also said when it comes to stuffing the bags almost anything goes.

‘Sometimes I received gift suggestions and samples for things that I end up loving that I wasn’t expecting to love. So Greenworks said they wanted to participate. They basically have all sorts of tools that you need for your home and yard and all sorts of projects.’

This will include live coverage of the Oscars red carpet with Ross King broadcasting directly from the event at the Dolby Theatre, followed by the coveted awards ceremony, which begins at midnight.

Talk show host Jonathan, who also helmed ITV’s coverage last year, will be joined by movie-loving guests to give their commentary as the action unfolds.

Last year, the Oscars acquired a total of 5.2million viewers across ITV1 and ITVX in the UK.

It came after, in September 2023, the broadcaster signed a major deal with Disney Entertainment.

This allows ITV to broadcast the Oscars on UK soil for several years after it was announced that Sky Cinema would be forgoing the rights after airing coverage since 2004.

In 2023, just 35,000 viewers tuned in to watch the Oscars live on the Sky Cinema Oscars channel, which was down from 60,000 in 2022.

The Oscars will take place on Sunday, March 2 and available to watch at 10:30pm on ITV and ITVX.
