Ilona Maher is one game away from the Premiership Women’s Rugby Final.
The American superstar and her Bristol Bears team face Gloucester-Hartpury in an unmissable semi-final clash at Queensholm on Sunday.
Maher was one of the stars of the 2024 Olympics in Paris and has made a huge impact on women’s rugby in this country since joining Bristol in December on a landmark three-month contract.
And the most followed rugby union player in the world on social media, who has more than eight million followers on Instagram and TikTok, wants to reach a championship decider.
Bristol go in as underdogs against a Gloucester-Hartpury side who are two-time league champions and chasing a record third consecutive title.
In what could be Maher's final appearance for Bristol, their head coach Dave Ward has described his side as “massive outsiders” and said: “Everyone is writing us off. Gloucester are heavy favourites.”
But with Maher starting on the wing, Bristol will fancy their chances of booking a place in the Premiership Women’s Rugby Final against Saracens after they beat Harlequins on Saturday.
Here’s everything you need to know about where to watch Maher in action…
