One of the UK's favourite maternity and children's clothing shops will be closing one of its branches in just a matter of days - on March 1.
JoJo Maman Bébé will be closing its Harrogate branch on Saturday.
A notice in the Oxford Street shop window announced the closure, much to the surprise of shoppers.
The sign read: "Our Harrogate store will close on Saturday, March 1. We’d like to thank our incredible team and our many local customers who have supported us throughout the years.
"We hope you can continue to visit us at your nearest local stores in Ilkley, York and Fox Valley or shop online."
A spokesperson said: "Unfortunately the Harrogate store is due to close. We are dedicated to supporting our employees through this transition and will provide assistance and resources to those affected.
"These plans do not affect our York store which will continue trading as normal."
The York branch is located at 81 Low Petergate, with other nearby stores located in Sheffield and Ilkley.
Taunton's JoJo Maman Bébé previously closed last year on August 19, 2024.
The company was founded by Laura Tenison following a major car crash in France.
During her hospital stay, she met a young mother who struggled to find quality baby and toddler clothes through mail-order catalogues.
Recognising the gap in the market, Tenison launched the company, initially inspired by traditional French Breton-style nautical clothing.
The product range later expanded to include baby, children's, and maternity clothing, as well as nursery products, gifts, and toys for babies, toddlers, and pre-schoolers.
Acquired by Next plc and an investment group led by Davidson Kempner in 2022, the company is currently managed by Mark Wright, who was appointed interim CEO in October 2024.
