It is the film industry’s biggest night — and the most important red carpet of the awards season for the A-list actors putting their most stylish foot forward on the red (yes, it is back to red this year) carpet.
The Academy Awards has arrived, and the A-listers have dressed to impress. Leading the pack are nominated Wicked duo Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo who went big with their gowns from Schiaparelli and Louis Vuitton, respectively.
Demi Moore, up for best actress for her leading role in The Substance, stunned with all the Hollywood glamour you could wish for, opting for a deep v-neck, silver embellished custom Armani Privé outfit — the same label she wore to win at the Golden Globes in January.
Bringing a shock of yellow to the ceremony was one Timothée Chalamet, who opted for a lurid, Givenchy suit. Joining him on the dapper gent front was Joe Alwyn in custom JW Anderson, Omar Apollo in Valentino, and Jeremy Strong in Loro Piana.
Of course, the most popular accessory on the red carpet this year is a heavy dose of one appetite-suppressing drug or another. As a result, figure-squeezing gowns and binding corsets were de rigueur.
