Gladiators' Jet has split from her wife. Diane Youdale, who rose to fame as Jet on Gladiators, tied the knot with her wife Zoe back in July 2023. The pair were married for just 18 months when they announced their split, which was revealed by MailOnline.
The pair reportedly met in a supermarket and Diane proposed to Zoe after just four months together, later marrying at an intimate ceremony of just nine loved ones. Zoe was Diane's first public romance with a woman, and the Gladiators star previously came out before they began dating.
Sources have now claimed that the pair have decided to go their separate ways. A source close to the couple said: "Diane and Zoe just realised it wasn't to be."
"They didn't see any point carrying on so decided to end their marriage. It's sad, especially as they were only married for nearly 18 months, but they just weren't getting on."
They explained: "On reflection, they may have rushed into making their relationship official but there's no regrets or hard feelings between them."
Daily Star has gone to Diane's reps for comment.
Jet previously admitted that she "just knew" Zoe was the one for her: "I think you know if you want to be with somebody."
She also previously discussed their marriage and after announcing the news, Diane proudly said: "We're married. We kept it very very quiet. Literally nine people on the planet knew. We wanted to keep it really tiny."
The Gladiators star also appeared on Lorraine alongside her wife just a month after tying the knot. She turned to Zoe and said: "I asked you four months in… I just knew. The proposal was really boring, just in the kitchen over a glass of wine, you know, let's do this."
Diane rose to fame on BBC's Gladiators and appeared as Jet from 1992-1995. She trained as a choreographer before joining the show aged just 22-years-old.
She became an instant fan favourite with home viewers and later went on to pursue a music career. In November 1994, she release I Don't Know which reached 100 in the UK Singles Chart.
Sadly, Diane was forced to leave Gladiators in 1996 due to a neck injury and later confessed that she did not want to make it worse. Youdale retrained as a psychotherapist, became a reporter on the 2008 Sky reboot of Gladiators and co-hosted the Gladiators podcast.
