Fearne Cotton spotted snogging director after split from husband Jesse Wood

Fearne Cotton was full of the joys of spring as she was seen kissing TV director Elliot Hegarty after a night out with friends in Soho.

In December, 43-year-old announced that she had separated from her husband Jesse Wood after a decade of marriage. They share two children; Rex, 11, and a daughter named Honey, nine. Jesse also has two children, Arthur, 22, and Lola, 19 with his ex wife, Tilly.

However, 11 weeks after announcing her marriage split, it seems as though Fearne may have found love again. The radio DJ was pictured kissing TV director Elliot Hegarty on a night out and her friends have reportedly said that Fearne has found happiness again with the dad-of-three.

A source told The Sun, Fearne has been 'quietly dating' the director, who worked on Disney+ hit Rivals, since January, and things are going well between them so far.

They said: “Fearne and Elliot have known each other for a while. When their marriages ended their friendship developed into romance. They have been seeing each other since January. Her split with Jesse was incredibly difficult but Elliot seems to make her incredibly happy.

“Fearne is now introducing Elliot to friends and they’re pleased to see her smiling again.”

Shortly before Fearne and Elliot were pictured kissing on Thursday, they had been enjoying an evening out with fellow TV presenter Gok Wan.

Meanwhile Elliot looked suave in a dark coloured jacket which he wore with a pair of jeans. The veteran tellyman is known for working on shows including Rivals, Ted Lasso and Bad Education. He has also worked on feature films The Bad Education Movie, and the 2000 release County Kilburn.

Fearne announced on December 16 that her marriage had ended. She posted a statement on Instagram which read: “It is with a heavy heart that I let you all know that Jesse and I are ending our marriage. Our priority has been and always will be our children. We please ask that you respect the privacy of our family at this time.”

The Sun reports that on Boxing Day, just ten days after Fearne announced the end of her marriage, Richard, 53, split from his wife Laura.
