Espanyol sealed a comeback victory with two late goals to beat Valencia 2-1 in LaLiga on New Year's Eve.
The Catalan side wrapped up their year on a high with three points in the Spanish league after Raul de de Tomas and Javi Puado struck late on.
The clash headed into the break goalless but Omar Aldrete broke the deadlock just six minutes into the second-half to hand Valencia the lead.
But the hosts gifted Espanyol with the chance to get into the game after Raul de Tomas found the net from the spot in the 83rd minute.
RDT helped to seal the comeback for the visitors five minutes later as he provided the assist for Puado to score the winner and snatch all three points.
