You may know Lucy Pargeter as Chas Dingle from Emmerdale, a character she's played since 2002, but what you might not know is that she had a pop star past before her soap days.
Lucy, 47, was a member of the girl band Paperdolls in the 90s, and they even supported Boyzone on tour. In 1998, the band released a single called Gonna Make You Blush.
Recently, Lucy posted a throwback clip of herself performing on Instagram, saying: "1998 ! ! ! Amazing the things that people find and send to me , soooooo much fun."
The post got a lot of reactions from her 26.2K followers, with many surprised to learn that Lucy can sing. One fan said: "Who knew u could sing brilliant" with a heart emoji, while another wrote: "Wow! You're so talented! Love! X".
Some people even compared her voice to Kylie Minogue's, with one saying: "There's a touch of the Kylie Minogue in your voice! Love it". Others couldn't believe they had forgotten about her singing past, with one commenting: "Oh my! I don't remember this at all".

Lucy has previously shared memories of her days as a pop star, including the time she supported Boyzone on tour. Chatting with Inside Soap, she reminisced: "It was a blast. Three girls on the road in their 20s having the best time."
Reflecting on the experience, she continued: "It was a laugh. We went from thinking we were just a few girls getting together and doing a few songs, to getting signed by a record label and touring. It was a great time."
The actress has dipped back into music over the years, notably impersonating Spice Girl Emma Bunton on Stars in Their Eyes in 2004 and nabbing third place in 2006 on Soapstar Superstar.
