EastEnders’ Bianca fights her PTSD to save friend in danger

Forthcoming scenes will see the legendary Walford character struggling in the wake of her recent ordeal at the hands of now-deceased killer Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman).

Having been held hostage in his storage unit for months, Bianca is still processing that and the subsequent explosion at the Queen Vic that Reiss caused.

Still feeling like a prisoner, Bianca can’t bear to go outside, which starts to worry her best friend Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace).

After eventually opening up about her trauma, the Knight family – who have moved into Sonia Fowler’s (Natalie Cassidy) house with Bianca following the Vic blast – try to encourage her to join them at Beales’ Eels for a meal.

When she gets overwhelmed, Bianca turns them down and receives more words of advice from Kat.

Meanwhile, Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho) is also trying to support Bianca, having built a friendship since the Knights moved in.

He goes over to Beales’ Eels to get some food for her, but is taunted by a group of lads.

Peter Beale (Thomas Law) tries to intervene and raises the alarm.

Upon hearing her new friend needs help, Bianca releases she has to fight her agoraphobia to be there in Kojo’s moment of need.

Will she be able to overcome her fears?

EastEnders airs these scenes from Monday 3 March at 7.30pm on BBC One on stream first from 6am on BBC iPlayer.
