An adorable Crufts contestant went viral after hilariously stealing one of the polls during the agility course.
Kratu the Carpathian-Mioritic mix rescue dog from Romania appeared at the dog show between 2017 and 2020, gaining internet fame for his antics.
He was rescued by Tessa Eagle Swan, who trained him as her assisstance dog. Tessa, who is autistic, said Kratu was a friend when she felt "lost and lonely".
She told Bustle: "Kratu succeeds where the system fails me. Where I was isolated, lost, and lonely, he has brought companionship.
"Motivation to look after him and his welfare makes me face my issues and get through them as his wellbeing is vital to me."
Kratu took on the Crufts agility course in 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020. In 2020, he garnered over five million views online after stealing one of the course's poles.
He seemed particularly drawn to the tunnels, repeatedly running through and hiding in them.
After doing that a few times, he decided to take one of the poles he was meant to jump over before realising it wouldn't fit through the tunnels and dropping it.
Though he certainly didn't win any medals, he did win the hearts of the millions of people who watched the heartwarming clip on YouTube.
Thousands of people commented under the adorable video, calling Kratu "a very good boy" and "the most fun to watch".
One person wrote: "Despite doing just about everything wrong in this sport, I hope somebody let him know afterwards that he is a VERY good boy!"
Another added: "I love how the supposed 'worst competitors' are always the crowd favorite and the most fun to watch. A dog being a dog. Nothing more pure."
A third joked: "I love how he does everything wrong during his time on the field, but right when he gets eliminated, he runs straight towards the door. He perfectly knows what he is doing."
