Comedian Ken Flores has died.
The stand-up star was in the middle of touring when he passed, aged just 28-years-old. He tragically died amidst his Butterfly Effect tour in the US.
The Chicago-born funnyman was set to entertain fans in Phoenix, Arizona just after the tragedy took place. His loved ones have released a statement about Ken's death and have requested privacy.
In a tear-jerking announcement, his family shared: "It is with great sadness that we confirm the untimely passing of our friend, brother, and son, Kenyi Flores."
"Please respect our privacy at this time as we are all shocked and devastated by this loss," they signed off. His family have not released details or the cause of his death.
Reports from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office state that Flores died at home on Tuesday following a cardiac arrest, as per TMZ, reports the Mirror.
TMZ wrote: "We're told someone at the scene called 911 and administered CPR until paramedics arrived ... but KF was pronounced dead at the scene. No foul play is suspected."
Fans were shocked to hear the news and social media was flooded with tributes to the star. Someone called him a "bright light" while another person assured others that he was bound to be a star.
Before his death, he had recently performed in Georgia and Oregon. His tour started on 10 January and was due to end in San Diego.
