ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J., February 24, 2025 – CNBC, First in Business Worldwide, today unveiled the second annual CNBC Changemakers: Women Transforming Business list. The list, inspired by CNBC Senior Media & Technology Correspondent Julia Boorstin's best-selling book "When Women Lead," recognizes a distinguished group of women from companies and organizations across all sectors of the economy whose accomplishments have left an indelible mark on the public and private sector, while paving a path others will follow.
The 50 honorees have crossed meaningful financial milestones, achieved significant business results, challenged traditional leadership models, solved old problems with new approaches, and identified untapped opportunities in the past year. The women named to this year's list serve as role models by setting new standards for success and transcending gender barriers.
Boorstin will lead special coverage across CNBC's Business Day programming and digital platforms today.
The CNBC Changemakers list was selected using a data-driven approach that analyzes the quantitative and qualitative impact and significance of each nominee's contribution to their industry or sector in 2024. The full methodology can be found here.
