Britney Spears shares 'symbolic' video of birds being set free

Grammy winner Britney Spears shared a video 'symbolic' of her 2021 with her captive, combined 151.8M social media followers on Thursday.

The Mississippi-born 40-year-old reposted an uncredited video from an Instagram account called Earthdixe set to Jaymes Young's 2017 song Infinity.

In it, a man opens the gates on a truck filled with hundreds of pigeons, which fly off into the distance of an exotic jungle area.

Britney also captioned the clip with three dress emojis and three bikini emojis.

Thanks to Spears' attorney Mathew Rosengart, she was freed from her 13-year conservatorship on November 12, which originally stemmed from her being on 5150 involuntary psychiatric hold for five days back in January 2008.

The former federal prosecutor will attend a court hearing next month to make sure the semi-retired pop star's estranged father Jamie Spears can no longer get a cent of 'attorney fees' from her $60M estate.

On Monday, Britney sent a clear message of 'f*** you' to her unsupportive family, indicating that's why she stopped making music.

Spears is now getting her music mojo back now, even sharing a video of herself belting an R&B-style vocal run in the bathroom on December 22.

The former Mouseketeer hasn't released a full-blown record since her ninth studio album Glory back in 2016.

On September 12, Britney revealed she was engaged to fitness trainer-turned-actor Sam Asghari.

Spears began dating the Iranian 26-year-old shortly after October 2016 when she cast him as her love interest in her Slumber Party music video

On November 16, the Matches singer revealed she was 'thinking about having another baby' and indicated that she'd love to have a daughter.

Britney has 30-70 custody of her two teenage sons - Sean Preston, 16; and Jayden James, 15 - from her two-year marriage to former back-up dancer Kevin Federline, which ended in 2007.
