The BRIT Awards winners have been revealed - with Charli xcx taking some of the top prizes.
This Saturday evening, the biggest music stars arrived at the O2 Arena to celebrate their successes over the past 12 months. There were performances from the likes of Sam Fender, JADE and Teddy Swims.
'Stargazing' singer Myles Smith - who won BRITs Rising Star Award - also performed, as well as Sabrina Carpenter, who became the first ever international artist to pick up the Global Success Award, which has previously gone to the likes of Adele and Ed Sheeran.
In a string of expletive filled rants, EastEnders actor Danny Dyer was muted by ITV as he made a dig at Keir Starmer. His expletive laden rant about International Song of the Year winner Chappell Roan was muted, but The Mirror can reveal exactly what the EastEnders star had said to be one of the only people muted this evening. Danny also drew headlines for being seated next to a 'horse'.
Winner Charli xcx made a dig at ITV about 'showing too much nipple', whilst Jack Whitehall was in hot water for making a joke about cancelled ITV presenters too. His joke about P Diddy also went down bad with viewers.
Speaking before the ceremony, host Jack Whitehall vowed some celebrities would be the butt of his jokes. He said: "That's the trick, by the way, I do a whole fake script in rehearsal now.
"Because previously I used to do the actual script in rehearsal, and then you'd have an hour of people from record labels and publishers coming and knocking on the dressing room door going, 'You can't say this, you can't say that'. So now I just do this fake script, which if you heard it, you'd be like, 'This is the lamest script ever', because it's all me just complimenting everyone and going, 'Oh, our next award is the best musician I've ever heard. They're great.'"
Sabrina Carpenter kicked off the show with a very racy performance of Espresso and Bed Chem whilst Jade Thirwall also performed Angel of My Dreams, and she won her first ever solo BRIT Award, paying tribute to her Little Mix 'sisters'.
Myles Smith used his Brit Rising Star award win to urge the government to do more to protect grassroots music venues.
There was also a tear-jerking tribute to Liam Payne, who died last October at the age of 31. Liam was remembered with an emotional video montage and a short tribute from host and friend Jack Whitehall.
