Amanda Holden gets emotional revealing she died after giving birth to daughter

The Britain’s Got Talent judge, 54, is a proud mum to daughters Lexi, born in 2006, and Hollie, born in 2012. Her son, Theo was stillborn in 2011.

Amanda, who is married to record producer Chris Hughes, recently returned to our screens, not just in BGT but for a new series of her renovation show with Alan Carr.

This time, the hilarious duo are refurbishing a Spanish house to transform it into a luxury abode—but it’s not an easy process.

At the end of the latest episode, Amanda and Alan take an evening hike to sit watching the sunset with a glass of wine.

Looking out at the stunning view, Amanda said to the comedian: ‘When you look at massive landscapes like this, it does put things into perspective.’

Alan agreed that ‘nothing is final’, declaring: ‘I wanna go on forever.’

‘When you lose someone, you believe, don’t you, that they’ve gone somewhere,’ Amanda continued on loss.

‘I’m not particularly religious but I don’t believe it’s the end.’

Opening up, she then shared: ‘Without being too maudlin, I had a really difficult birth with Hollie.

‘Which ended up with me in a coma, I died.

‘I was in intensive care and the baby was fine, and then when I came round and everything was alright, I never stopped thinking about death after that and how easy and close it is to you, all the time.’

‘Life is so precious, and it can disappear from you so fast,’ she added emotionally. ‘I’m just like, make every second count, literally.’

Alan nodded in agreement then poured his pal another glass of Cava as they toasted ‘to life.’

Amanda frequently speaks about life as a mum and shares snaps on Instagram with her lookalike daughters.

Last year, also for Amanda and Alan’s Italian Job, she began weeping while speaking about her children leaving home.

‘They say you have 18 summers and then you’re lucky to see them.’

She added: ‘It’s so terrible because you wish so much of it away when you’re a busy parent… and then you turn around and they’re not even there.’

Eldest daughter Lexi previously signed a modelling contract with Storm Management, which once managed Kate Moss.

She’s since walked the catwalk at London Fashion Week, with Amanda telling her followers that she and Chris ‘couldn’t be more proud’ of her.

‘This year has been a significant one for her, she has worked really hard with her A Levels and she got herself into a great university,’ her caption read.

‘Chris and I love her to bits and her little sister Hollie looks up to her so much. It’s a wonderful moment for her.’

The family of four lives in a sprawling £7million mansion in Cobham, Surrey, an area that has been described as the ‘Beverly Hills of the UK.’
