Alexandra Burke cosies up to Darren Randolph and don festive outfits

Alexandra Burke looked cosy as she embraced her footballer boyfriend Darren Randolph in Christmas outfits for a slew of festive Instagram snaps on Thursday.

The singer, 33, looked happy as she hugged her man while wearing a red and green tartan skirt suit, which she paired with slip on heels.

Darren, 34, who plays for West Ham and hails from Ireland, looked in good spirits as he donned a Santa style hoodie complete with fur lined trim and a black belt.

The couple smiled for the camera before they gazed into each other's eyes in the social media post - with Alexandra writing: 'Choose Happiness.Always.'

Surrounding the loved up pair were two life-size nutcracker figurines and a huge bauble arch over the front door.

They also shared a stunning video of the two of them, showing the pair giggling and chatting.

Earlier this year, Alexandra revealed to MailOnline that she's in a 'really happy place' with 'lovely guy' Darren.

Alexandra was later spotted emerging from swanky luxury London hotel Middle Eight with the West Ham player.

Thought to have been dating since May, it was reported that Alexandra had been helping the athlete decorate his home and is said to have hired a chef to cook them a meal for his 34th birthday.

Last month, Alexandra revealed the downside to being in the public eye after getting death threats from a 15-year-old troll.

Chatting to Bobby Norris on Fubar Radio about the shocking abuse she recieved online, the X-factor winner claimed the child 'knew what she was doing.'

Alexandra explained: 'I received death threats years ago and had an issue there… We found out who the person was, it was a 15-year-old girl.

The 2008 X-factor winner added that when the girl was caught she attempted to apologised - but she didn't think it was sincere.

She went on: 'She wrote a letter to me and said "I’m sorry, I didn’t realise what I was doing".

'When you are writing the words "I want to kill you" and "I’m going to kill you tonight", you know what you’re doing. I don’t accept that they don’t know what they’re talking about, or they don’t know the effects it will have on people.'
