$2,200-per-month NYC apartment has a shower in the LIVING ROOM

A real estate agent has TikTok in stitches after sharing a video of a New York City apartment that has a shower in the living room.

Claudia Degteva showed off the layout of the $2,200 per month pad in a now-viral video, which includes a close-up of the walk-in shower that has a clear glass door.

'When you pay $2,200/ and have to shower in the living room,' she captioned the video, asking her followers: 'Would you?'

Degteva opened the clip with a shot of just the toilet in the bathroom — a prelude to what was to come — before panning the camera to the kitchen.

There was a stove, a refrigerator, a sink, and plenty of cabinet space, which can be rare finds in the Big Apple.

She then walked into the living room that featured two windows and a fireplace. The apartment seemed like a great find until she turned around.

In the corner of the room, there was a walk-in shower with a glass door and a metal bar on the wall to hang a towel — two unexpected features for a living room.

The video has been viewed more than 1.3 million times in one day, and viewers had plenty of thoughts.

'You have to entertain guests somehow,' one person joked, while another commented: 'At least give it a curtain.'

Others were appalled by the shower in the living room and pointed out that it was just one example of the notoriously terrible apartment layouts in the city.

'New York can’t keep getting away with these god-awful apartment layouts. Were the architects drunk,' one TikToker wrote.

'I really don’t get how so many NYC apartments have ridiculous layouts like this,' someone else agreed.

'How do these places even exist???' another asked.

There were also a few people who admitted to liking the place.

'You have windows so that's kinda nice for NYC,' one fan pointed out, while someone else added: 'The fact I saw this and thought "that looks like a good deal."'

The next day, Degteva shared a follow-up video in response to a commenter who wrote: 'Next time they will put a toilet right next to the stove.'

'It exists,' she captioned the footage, which showed a toilet hidden in a kitchen cabinet next to an oven.
